This plant emerged from a batch of Agave ovatifolia seedlings that are slightly different from the true species. Their leaves are more recurved and lighter in color and they don't tolerate as full sun as ovatifolia tend to. This specimen has light striated variegation. We suspect it may be a hybrid with Agave 'UCB'
